What We Do

Maple Med Global coordinates the full medical travel process, from the first inquiry through to the patient's return home. This includes identifying appropriate hospitals and physicians, arranging consultations and treatment, and supporting patients with the practical details around their care. Each patient is supported directly by Maple Med Global at every stage.
Our work focuses on areas such as oncology, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, and bariatric surgery, along with rare or hard to access treatments. Maple Med Global coordinates care; all medical decisions and treatment are the responsibility of the treating physicians and their hospitals.

How We Work

At Maple Med Global, every patient is approached as an individual case. For each patient, we research the physicians and hospitals with the right expertise for that specific condition, drawing on current medical information in the relevant field. Our recommendations are shaped by that research, the patient's medical situation, and their personal priorities.
This research is not limited to our existing network. For every case, the options are reviewed again, and any hospital or physician under consideration is assessed against the same standards before it is presented to the patient. This case by case approach is also how our network continues to grow.

Our Network

Maple Med Global works with internationally accredited hospitals and clinics across 24 destinations. The international hospitals we work with hold Joint Commission International (JCI), Accreditation Canada, or equivalent accreditation.

Every hospital is evaluated against the same quality standards before it joins the network. We maintain these relationships through regular hospital visits and participation in international healthcare events, which also allows us to assess new institutions first hand. The network continues to grow, and each new hospital goes through the same review.​​

 

Our Founder

​Maple Med Global was founded by Ceylan Adiguzel, who spent nearly twenty years in senior management in higher education. For the last five of those years, she served at İstinye University in Istanbul, an institution established by one of Turkey's largest healthcare groups, as Director of its Continuing Education Center and, at the same time, as Director of its Technology Transfer Office. In these roles she led training programs and technology projects across more than thirty hospitals within the group, working closely with physicians, hospital administrators, and academics.
She has since travelled to cities such as Berlin, Paris, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Tijuana, taking part in international medical travel events or visiting partner hospitals on site. That direct experience and the network behind it are the foundation of Maple Med Global's hospital partnerships today.
